The International Business School (IBS), which was established in 2002, conducts two doctoral programs, three master programs of first rank discipline, 24 master programs and seven bachelor programs. It is a new-type business school with three disciplines: economics, management, and business law. There are seven departments, eight research centers and two education centers in the IBS. The school has 56 full-time teachers, which include 11 professors, 19 associate professors and three doctoral supervisors. Twenty three teachers have obtained their doctoral degrees. One thousand four students are enrolled at the IBS as undergraduates, and 161 students are enrolled as postgraduates.

IBS has published more than 10 papers in China’s most famous journals, “Social Sciences in China” and ”Economic Research Journal” and so on. The school has also published 23 books, and 11 of them have received the Research Award from either Shaanxi province or one of the national ministries. In addition, one book received the Special Teaching Award from Shaanxi province.

IBS has set up a website for China western economic research and publishes “Review of China’s Development Economics”, “Finance Development Report of Western China”, “Ecological Economics Report of Western China” and “Euro-Asia Trade Bridge Economic Area and Shaanxi Development Report” regularly.
