College of Computer Science currently possesses 3 disciplines for undergraduates, that is, Computer Science and Technology, Information Management and Information System, and Software Engineering. The college contains a doctoral program in Computer Software and Theory, first rank master discipline in Computer Science and Technology. The students enrolled at college amount to 880, among whom there are 780 post-graduates and 100 undergraduates. The college has 69 faculty members, among whom 5 are professors, 19 associate professors, and one adjunct professor, and yet 11 have got doctorate degrees. Up to now, the college has undertaken several research projects: Key Program and General Program of National Natural Science Foundation, "863" and "973" Programs, and Natural Science Foundation of Shaanxi Province. There are batches of doctors with profound theoretical ground, who are young, vigorous and ambitious, and a high level team devoted to researching and teaching, whose main research fields are intelligent information processing, information security, software engineering, geographic information system and theoretical computer science. A number of influencing papers or books are published in some famous journal or press at home and abroad, which cover intelligent information processing, information security, theoretical computer science, etc.
